I was visiting North Haven recently for work, and had planned to drive into NYC one day for some real pizza. Some locals told me not to bother, a quick trip to New Haven for some Frank Pepe pizza was all I needed. I was dubious, NYC is famous for pizza, New Haven is not. I was also flat out wrong. Frank Pepe pizza is amazing, like multiple swear word amazing. I grew up 25 years near Chicago, so I know me some pizza. Even more amazing, they sell some sort of generic pop there called kola, with a K, and it actually compliments the pizza like they were made for each other. Amazing. Those eastern states are small, if you're anywhere near this place, make the drive, get the kola, it'll be worth the trip.

Still amazing. I've run out of reasons to visit Connecticut, but I'll dream about Frank and his glorious pizza (New Haven location only) until they bury me in dirt. Addio.
