We bought something for EUR 2.99. Have given 2x EUR 2 pieces at the checkout. Get EUR 1 again. When asked where the remaining EUR 0.01 would be, I was informed that the supermarket would be rounded up without being asked.

So what is that? Curls with EUR 2.99, but then costs EUR 3, -? Cheek! In Germany I would go against it, in the Netherlands as a tourist I couldn't do anything about it.
