We recently stayed at H.I.Rosslyn for 11 nights, intent on properly exploring the D.C. area and timing our visit with the annual blooming of the Cherry Blossoms. Our time there easily exceeded our expectations.
It MUST be mentioned that the staff at H.I.Rosslyn would be hard to beat. Their friendly, yet professional nature played perfectly with the actual experience of staying there. Given the length of our stay, when we booked our reservations, we inquired about the availability of a room with a "lofty view" of the Potomac, an in-room microwave, a rollaway bed for a friend, among other things. We were told they would "do their best." When we arrived and checked in, Abby, the staffer that had taken our reservation originally, had indeed "worked her magic," and ALL our requests were a GO! We were positively stunned and delighted. Everything else that was associated with the property was as described on the website. It should be emphasized, the convenient location of H.I.Rosslyn to nice places to eat, shop, as well as to accessing the Metro, was a significant PLUS. Parking at the property was both free and secure. We never used our vehicle after parking! We would happily stay there again. Thank you again, Abby!
