I filled out the application and paid the required donation. I didn t hear from anyone for weeks. I finally received an email and it stated that they were unable to approve my application and because of their policy they could not state the reason for the decline. We have two rescued dogs that have been with us for years and a previous rescue that was with us for 16 years until he passed away. We have no children in the house and someone is home the majority of every day with a fenced in back yard. We have had the same vet for years and have owned our house for over a decade. I feel like a sucker for giving the donation as it doesn t seem they are a legitimate rescue. To not offer the reason seems absurd. We are disappointed to say the least and hope we are completely wrong in our assessment for the sake of the dogs that are desperate for homes. Proceed with caution on this one.
