The Players Cove at Lely Resort Condominium Association hired Stahlman-England. to address a major site drainage issue whereby rain water had a tendency to pool against the sides of our buildings. If the rains were heavy enough, the water found its way into some of the lower units, creating quite a headache both for the owner and the Board of Directors.

We interviewed several companies and by far Stahlman-England was the best one in terms of experience, knowledge, quality, professionalism and cost. This turned out to be a big job involving the installation of approximately 2.2 miles of underground PVC piping to transport water away from our buildings, and there was no room for error.

I can't say enough as to how pleased both the Board and our residents were with the work that was conducted.

Among other things, Mark Stahlman, owner of SE was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Mark and his company have many years of experience solving water-related problems. Mark developed the initial design and was both patient and flexible in working through several subsequent iterations pursuant to getting the final design right. It was clear at the outset that Mark was quality minded, which greatly increased our confidence the job would get done right.

Kudos as well to the job foreman, crew of workers and office staff. They were professional at all times, frequently checking-in to make sure we were satisfied. The workers showed-up on time, did their work that involved substantial excavation, and importantly cleaned-up at the end of the day. The project was completed on schedule and we have not experienced any water ingress issues since its completion. It is noteworthy that many of our residents couldn't believe the level of professionalism and neatness based on their prior experience with other vendors working in our community.

As expected, a project of this magnitude has had a few hiccups. These were of a minor nature and always addressed/resolved in a timely manner. We are now coming up on 1-year since the project was completed, and SE continues to be responsive to our needs should a matter occur that requires corrective action.
