A bad experience, fuelled by long queues, unfriendly staff and the extortion of paying for every element of the grounds.
We came to the palace with tickets purchased in advance and had to queue for about an hour. Very unorganised inside with many many people pushing. Rooms were artificially rendered. Even entering the garden, you have to pay nearly 10euros, simply because they play music (played through speakers, not even live). Our afternoon of paying the privelege to listen to recorded music was drowned out by renovation works and leaf blowers. If you want to use the train or electric carts to tour the gardens, they are 8 and 34 euros, respectively.
Avoid going inside and admire this place from the perimeter!
