If I could give them a negative stars, I would. Short version: My mother was admitted for chocking in early April she was given an antibiotic for an alleged aspiration pneumonia that was eventually not found by the medical examiner. The antibiotic was Vancomycin. This expedite the patient with the strongest antibiotic to get them out and move on to the next destroyed my mothers kidneys and generated Nephrotoxicity with no prior history of kidney disease, all this within forty eight hours. On day four of her stay she was in acute renal failure and dialysis was recommended. It happened to be a Friday so the Doctor would wait till Monday while my mother was filled with toxins from failing kidneys. Ultimately on the 8th day after we were told she would be going home and dialysis was never administered she died of cardiopulmonary arrest. These people contributed to her early demise by administering a medication that clearly has a history of nephrotoxicity or patient death or permanent state of dialysis, they let her rot in her bed for days without intervention and a woman of 68 years is now gone. I'm horrified. I am an Ultrasound Tech for 18 years and I'm ashamed of our health care. This hospital is the worst. When they tried to have me sign the death attestation, they claimed she died of complications of her thyroid and type II diabetes failing to mention the chocking and calling her kidneys diseased prior to her stay which is 100% false. They went as far as offering to correct the death attestation which they did, but not after threatening me to arrest me and claiming that I was banned from their facility. These people called me in to come in and speak with the assistant to the chief. When I arrived they denied ever having called me and said no-one by the name of Kitty worked at God Sam. What lies, she eventually showed up with the Chief that allegedly was not in the hospital either. I have to say the Chief was wonderful but everything else was horrible. NEGATIVE ONE MILLION STARS
