For being a Ritz Carlton I was highly disappointed...

For being a Ritz Carlton I was highly disappointed. Views are great and the food is good (yet overpriced because of the name but I'll accept that). The rooms are outdated. Bathroom floors and corners were dirty. Carpeting is old. In room entertainment is out dated. My Laguna trip was followed up with a stay in Denver at AC Marriott which was may more accommodating and modern than the Ritz... and have the price. I also found the nightly "resort" fee to be a bit of a waste when your stay is in the cooler months when you can't even enjoy the resort fee amenities. I will say the staff was lovely however unfortunately I will not be returning to this specific Ritz. Such a bummer.
