This hotel charged my debit card twice for our stay. Once at the desk and once a few days after. However a dollar less. This made me overdraft on my account. The lady at the front desk told me it was normal and could take 3-5 business days to show on my account. I called my bank and they IMMEDIATELY took their second charge off my account and luckily refunded me back my over draft fee. However, my car payment went out at the same time of the double transaction and is now being rejected. I have never missed a car payment. And because it is being rejected I am being charged for that. I do not feel that I should be responsible for that charge and in fact think the hotel should pay for it since it was their fault. I am currently getting my bank involved with this situation. I have never had this issue with a hotel before and will never stay at a Hampton In again. If anyone needs to look up my stay, My name is Marisa Miller and I stayed at your location on July 28-29.
