The hotel should've quoted me the full amount I have to pay including tax. I stayed 5 nights and was quoted Euro $440.10 (Single bed with private bathroom) 3-8 October 2016. When I arrived I had to pay an extra Euro $20.77 for tax, this is the amount they should've quoted before my arrival. On the plus side the hotel is located next to Sloterdijk train station which is only a 10 minutes train ride to Amsterdam Centraal station and 10 minutes to Schiphol airport. Another plus is I had to pay an extra Euro $10 for a 3-hour late check-out extension (11am-2pm) which I find to be very reasonable rate.
