Lovely clean and large luxury hotel. Perfect position for getting into Central Tokyo as station is almost attached - direct into Shimbashi approx 10 min and link to the metro. Coffee shop directly between hotel and station as well as 24hr convenience store for snacks, drinks and essentials. My biggest surprise was the 3 massive shopping malls on the doorstep with food courts and open til 9pm. Fuji building, science tech museum, gundum robot and lovely open spaces all within easy 5 min walk. Absolutely ideal - we had 4 bed luxury room with no view of rainbow Bridge but the view from our window of the docks, sea and Tokyo skyline was amazing. Big room with lovely bathroom. Only downside was no pool. Rooftop pool we couldn't even see and it only opens for the short summer season. Indoor pool is part of fitness club and strictly No Kids. Restaurants inside hotel esp on the top floor felt very adult only. We didn't opt for breakfast as there are so many varied eateries - including Starbucks and McDonald's within 5 mins (we ate lots of local food too but it's a useful backup for the kids if you're worried they might not eat much). Overall a superb base.
