The hotel itself is beautiful and hotel staff is super friendly but I don't believe that it should have a 4 star rating. The food unfortunately below the standard that was expected and there were limited options for food and beverage. At a price of over 250pp I expected the buffet service to have a large variety and provide a drink but the menu was basic and there was no complementary drink and with a can of cold drink being 25 ZAR we felt that it was below our expectations

Also the hotels pool was out of commission and with a party of over 34 people having to find an alternative pool venue on a public holiday was tough. This was made even worse when the hotel management were unable to provide guests with a reasonable alternative
