We are going on our third year here and we absolutely love it. We are military and apartments were defiantly not my idea of where I wanted to live, but I don't think we could have choose a better place. We have a ground apartment and no disruptions from above. The gates tend to be an issue. Always. The only other problems we have had was we moved in August and November-right before Thanksgiving, we were robbed. They claim to have cameras at the gates, but the culprits were never caught so... take that for what it is and don't get complacent, and get renters insurance. A neighbor we never spoke with realized something was odd, stopped them, and prevented them from taking everything we had worked so hard for. Columbus police were useless also.
