Such a wonderful place! We all loved riding the carousel of course. They have so many special animals that I had never seen as carousel animals before. We are from Alaska and my daughter just Had to ride the salmon. The elephant, bulldog, giraffe, dragon, cat and bear were all favorites as well. The carving studio downstairs was Amazing to see (and free) and the amount of detail on the animals is just stunning. I cant wait for the Orca to be finished. The gentleman downstairs carving the elephant even let the kids in our tour group all take a turn helping to carve the elephants foot, that was so special and my daughter still talks about it.
The gift shop was fun as well and had even more museum displays on the outer edges of the room.
We had a wonderful time and will most certainly go back the next time we are in Oregon.
