Richard Owen Bolger is an exemplary attorney in all respects. Mr. Bolger is currently representing me in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing. After twenty-plus years as a successful banker, certified public accountant in both the public and private sectors, and then eight years as English teacher and adjunct professor of developmental writing, I never thought that as I approached retirement age, I would be filing for bankruptcy. Mr. Bolger has guided me through the legal process and preparation of requisite documents. He has also helped me manage the emotional stress of this difficult financial situation. He reinforced my conviction that taking an enormous risk with my life savings investing in the composition of an epic novel was an endeavor worthy of that risk despite the immediate financial consequences. As I am acknowledging my impending bankruptcy, I would like to make two additional statements:

(1) I am pleased with the quality of my product: the epic novel, although unusual in format, is of professional caliber.
(2) Having always been a financially responsible adult, I intend to repay my creditors, although this is neither customary nor expected.
