It was the Thursday prior to Labor Day weekend. We saw a post on Facebook from Plantation Suites saying they had rooms available. I checked there web page and liked there King room with spa tub. (We have stayed at Plantation Suites numerous times so we had an idea what the rooms looked like.)

I called there number and spoke to a very nice person. Her name was Katie. I told her that I saw her post on Facebook and wanted to come down for 1 night with our pet. She said no problem. I booked the room. We arrived that Sunday and when we checked in to the room it WAS NOT the room I THOUGHT I booked. I was given a 2 king bed standard tub and wanted the 1 king spa tub room. Well, Kimberly (Another very nice person at check-in) explained to me that my reservation was a 2 king and not the one I was stating. She said the rooms are all sold out so there is no way to switch rooms.

The manage contacted me later and I said it was MY fault for not verifying the reservation that came in the email. This was not Katie's fault AT ALL!!!!!

This is where it gets GOOD!!! The manager took 10% off the room for the inconvenience. JUST AWESOME!!!

At Check-out, we noticed that the 10% was not taken out but the pet fee WAS!! Which was HIGHER then the 10%!!!!!!

Now the following I'm not saying because of the above treatment, but we comeback because of the Pet friendly, GREAT rooms, OUTSTANGING pool and hot tub area, OUTSTANDING STAFF, GREAT breakfast, GREAT location to everything in Port A!!!!

We will be back!!!

Lastly, A BIG THANK YOU to the Manager on duty This Labor day weekend 2015. :)
