The Vatican Museums are a must see in Rome. The School of Athens is amazing. But the true Gem is the Sistine Chapel. This chapel is just marvelous. I was left speechless. When you go, download Rick Steve's app. You'll get a tour guide in your ear of the museum and a separate one for the Sistine Chapel for FREE! Make sure to get your tickets through Viator and do the skip the line (you'll walk past hundreds of nonsmart people who will decide to stand in line. Trust me on this one). Very reasonable price and with Rick Steve's app you are set to go to walk approximately 10 miles throughout the museum (think I'm kidding?!?!...try me).
If you want souvenirs you might want to get them outside. I purchased some rosaries and magnets for 1. All in all this place is a MUST!
