Plan ahead as I was not able to get tickets to get inside the statue. The security line did take about 30 minutes and the boat waits about 20 min before taking off on the 15 min ride. There are bathrooms on the boat but many were closed. Snacks available too but the cafe on liberty island looked to be a much better option. The visitor museum on the hill was super fun for me and my 5 year old. They have history of, original torch and interactive display with photos! You really need to give yourself more time than expected to err enjoy the views and wait for the next boat. We rushed through both island with 10am tickets to get back at 430pm.
