I recently stayed at the Tropicana for the second ...

I recently stayed at the Tropicana for the second time and if I could go back in time and save my money I would. When we showed up and checked in, we got told we would be staying in a room in the "bungalows" which was supposed to be similar to the rooms in the new tower. It would've been nice for them to let us know before-hand but we figured its not that big of a deal. 10 minutes later after enjoying a "wonderful" journey through the numerous hallways and elevators to get to our room, we had arrived... Only to be even more disappointed. It looked as if somebody hadn't stayed in the room since the 90's. We walked in, the light in the entrance was burnt out, the bathroom was half-a**ed cleaned with only a few hairs here and there (no biggie), the view out our window was breath-taking (only if HVAC systems excite you. They were on the roof outside our window and close enough to suck the breath out of your lungs), but the big thing I noticed was.. it was half the size as the rooms in the tower!!! Had I known I wouldn't have the luxury of a king-sized bed, large CLEAN bathroom, spacious room, and a decent view, I would've stayed at the Super 8 and saved my money. Instead of paying the exact price as those people that were enjoying those delicacies... Anyways after seeing the state of our room we decided to once again journey back to the front desk and see if anything could be done about the situation. We talked to a lady at the desk who seemed more involved in the exciting conversation with her co-worker then to even acknowledge us with eye-contact when we talked. She informed us that the ENTIRE hotel was booked solid and nothing could be done. Although she did ensure us that we would have a new light bulb installed and a roll of toilet paper by morning! Hallelujah, Woopdiyay, Problem solved! We didn't get our light-bulb... But our magical roll of toilet paper was delivered to the room which you needed a GPS coordinate just to get to, the very next morning. I very much dislike this hotel, and I will never EVER stay here again. I believe I have expressed my feeling towards this place. Oh and if you do plan on staying at this hotel, my advice to you, is to ask them when you make your booking if they are planning on sticking you in the "bungalows." Or as I call them "the weeds."
