This place should literally be rated in the negatives.
I went in to get an abscess removed and the person named Adam literally finished in less than 5 minutes.
He had to make an incision (which was less than a 1/4 inch long and not to mention that he didnt numb me good enough and i felt the initial cut), squeeze it out (making sure nothing was left), pack it with gauze (through a tiny incision) clean/ sterilize it, and cover it.
Then a few days later i to come back in because it was not getting any better but worse.
They then put me on IV's and transferred me to a different branch of wakemed.
I then had to stay there for 3 days waiting for surgeons to come in and do it correctly.
The surgeons treated me well at first and got the procedure done with a 4 inch incision and covered it.
But this is where the bad part comes in: The next morning when the surgeons came in to change the gauze, they did not moisten it so the dry blood would release from the wound.
Instead they proceeded to peel it off, with me screaming in pain and begging them to stop.
but oh no, they keep going.
Then when i leave the hospital, a couple weeks later i get a bill saying i owe $791, when i was told my insurance covered everything.
I wouldnt go back to this place if i was dying, because honestly they would probably just make it worse.
rather die around friends and family then a bunch of assholes that dont care.
