Each Thanksgiving, we book a cabin in the Gatlinburg area. This year we decided to try Under the Southern Sky. It was a wonderful experience.

Prior to our arrival, Eden Crest made sure that we received all necessary check in information in a timely manner. Once we arrived, we were pleased to find that everything was as expected. The cabin was rustic yet light and airy, such beautiful character and details. Everything was well maintained and spotless. The views from the wraparound decks are simply amazing. It s a nature lover s paradise.

The living room and kitchen are open, allowing us to cook and converse as a group without feeling too squeezed. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils (including a crockpot). The sleeper sofa in the living room is quite comfy and a nice size.

The game room was all the entertainment that my teenagers needed. Between the upright 60+ multigame arcade, pool table, digital foosball table, checkers mat, board games, puzzles, television, and sleeper sofa, they were set. There was not one complaint from them.

*However, note that the bedrooms are located beneath the game room...and the game room floor is NOISY...meaning that anything heard from below is significantly amplified. This did not create an issue for us because we all went to sleep around the same time.*

The 2 bedrooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. I love that the jacuzzi tub is actually in the master bedroom versus inside of the bathroom. Watching a movie while relaxing in a hot bath provided the perfect end to a long day.

The washer/dryer works perfectly. We didn t have time to use the private outdoor hot tub. Next time, we ll try the resort s indoor and outdoor pools.

Lastly, Bear Creek Crossing resort is secluded yet close to everything. Did I mention that the resort is only minutes away from Tanger Outlets - Sevierville?

All in all, Eden Crest Cabin Rentals did not disappoint. Bear Creek Crossing Resort is beautiful and Under the Southern Sky is amazing.
