This is my first and LAST experience with Eden Crest Vacations. I would like to say I am not a person who complains or is exceptionally hard to please. We rented this unit to spend our last holiday with our daughter, who is in the US Army, and deploying in December. We expected a restful, laid-back and peaceful experience. What we got was quite the opposite. Our first night there was horrendous. An extended family had rented many units above us and was thoughtless and rude, staying up until 3:30 a.m., making noise, shouting, stampeding inside the unit, running up and down the stairs, making noise in the parking lot and kept everyone awake most of the night. This was reported to the staff by myself early in the morning the next day. No acknowledgment was received whatsoever to address the issue.

The next day, Thanksgiving, we were cooking dinner without any hot water in the kitchen, making it impossible to wash and clean dishes. Also, some of the utensils were not working, and we had to open cans with a knife. The second and third nights were a repeat of the first night, with escalating noise throughout the entire night and into the early morning hours.

Furthermore, the carpeting inside the unit was filthy, stained, dirty with unraveling sections of the rug. We paid an outrageous $1400+ for 3 nights for this place. Needless to say, the price was in no way reflective of the value and condition of the unit.

I had sent another email to management the morning we left, again expressing our dissatisfaction and asking for resolution. Someone did contact me promising to rectify, but then never go back to me. I called Eden Crest two days later only to be told "unfortunately we cannot do anything for you." "We polled the other guests and found nothing wrong." My response was "if you polled the people making the noise, they would not complain."

My advice is: DO NOT STAY HERE even if it is the last available place left. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company as management does not seem to care about the quality of their properties or the experiences of their guests.
