I have used the Hilton brand in my hotel stays on a couple of occasions. This past experience has been nothing but unprofessional and disappointing. I made a reservation at this hotel for one night stay. Driving from out of town I used the Hilton app to double check my reservation that I found was cancelled. I contacted the hotel to inquire more and the agent that answered informed me that the reservation was cancelled by Hilton for a reason that made no sense at all. I received NO notification what so ever on the cancellation. The agent was cold and did not offer any assistance. I was traveling with my infant and family and was inconvenienced to find another hotel to stay that night at the last minute. On top of that, a few days later my credit card was charged for LATE CANCELLATION!! How can I be charged late cancellation when I didn't cancel the reservation to begin with. I am still waiting on a refund and a PHONE CALL from the manager that HILTON informed me would be contacting me about this issue. Customer service on both Hampton Inn and Hilton has been very disappointing. And all they offer you for your troubles are points!
