I have been in the medical field for over 20 years...

I have been in the medical field for over 20 years. I ve been to Methodist numerous times and have usually been impressed by the care they provide. However this last time, my father was sent to the new tower that they just completely building. It was a terrible experience.

The staff was poorly organized and poorly trained. Many of the new nurses were incapable of caring for my father because he was a tall and large man. They often required my help.

The staff were not attentive and took forever for them to answer the call light. Most of them did not know what was going on with my father s plan of care and I had to inform him on numerous issues.

I honestly would think twice about sending my parents or coming myself to this hospital. I was not impressed and greatly disappointed with the level of care that they provided. They have a reputation for providing some of the best care, but on this occasion they failed epically.
