We rented this cabin for Thanksgiving week. We truly enjoyed our stay and really never needed to leave. The cabin is very spacious and everyone had their own spot to retreat to. One of our daughters-in-law spent much of her time on the deck next to the outdoor fireplace reading! The pool was indeed cold, but no colder than a lap pool. There was a smell of chlorine, but not overwhelming. It is, after all, an indoor pool, and the adults sleeping downstairs said it was not a problem. Our adult kids and grandkids loved the cabin. Our sons loved the game room. Everyone would swim then the adults would jump in the hot tub. The theater room was very comfortable. Wifi is spotty, one day we were easily able to access Netflix, the next we were not We were always able to access computer wifi. But folks, you're in the mountains! Bring DVDs or download movies if you are concerned. A pleasant surprise was how well the kitchen was appointed! There were plenty of pots and pans to cook Thanksgiving dinner, pyrex, bakeware, and extra paper towels and tissue. We will book this cabin again!
