Amazing. She is big and beautiful and seeing her up close should be a must. There is so much detail, the pictures and little statues do not do her justice.

We took the first ferry out from Battery Park. It was a nice ride, and was already crowded, but on the island the crowds were not too bad.

It would be nice if the security were more discrete. I appreciate the need for this, but it is sometimes difficult to get a picture (from some angles) without a security camera in it.

We decided a bit late to visit the Statue, and could not get tickets for the crown. We could have gotten tickets for the pedestal initially, but we decided not to so as to save time. I regret not doing so and when we visited it was already too late they were sold out
