First time using this dealership for the Service center. I had a Honda-issued safety recall on my civic, and I called to make an appointment for this. I provided my VIN over the phone, and the person I spoke with said that for this recall, they would need to first look and see if any repair was even needed, and that they did not need to order special parts. I booked the appointment for a week later.
When I dropped the car off, the gentleman (Jeff) at the desk was very pleasant and helpful, but he had to re-intake all of my information and he did not have any notes about the reason for my visit. He also informed me that there were TWO recalls on my vehicle, not just one, and that the one I hadn't been informed of over the phone required a part which has to be special-ordered from Honda by VIN. He promptly had an order placed for the part which was needed, and gave me the option of having one done today and another at some point in the future, which I agreed to.
Overall, Jeff handled the situation well, but it was extremely frustrating to have to come all the way out there to drop the car off, to be told that the person who handled my call in the first place screwed up. There is another Honda dealership almost equidistant from me and in the future I'll probably use them in the rare instances that I ever take my car to the dealer for service.
