This has become the most disasterously, mismanaged medical facility I have ever been to. My father had open heart surgery here in 2016 and the place is so underfunded in all areas that he caught pseudomonas infection in the CICU. 4 months later after fighting the infection, he had to have a revision to the same open heart surgery and caught pseudomonas again. This time it infected the one and he lost his sternum and multiple ribs.
Now my 19 year old son was transferred here from Palm Bay Hospital and is in SICU. He fell and it caused a concussion. He then had a seizure a short time later. He has been treated for meningitis. He is intubated and maxed out on fentanyl and propofol but awoke wide awake last night and obviously able to breathe on his own. They can t sedate any more and refuse to get a dr there to allow for extubation. This place has the medical protocol of a ghetto trap house. Somebody like Advent Health please buy HRMC and provide a top quality medical Center that Melbourne deserves.
