As our wooden Georgian pane windows were over 40 years old and unable to resist heavy rain and gales anymore, we decided to replace all 16 windows, including 3 bay windows, plus a back door and the French Windows all in one daunting project. We wanted a company that was local, small enough to care and provide technical advice about suppliers, a good eye for aesthetics and good project management. A web search identified the Open Window Company as having an elegant, clear website so Simon was asked to do a survey and provide a quotation and immediately impressed us with his expertise and we accepted his competitive quotation.
We have been fortunate in our choice! Simon, Glen and Josh on site, and Shelley in admin, have delivered a super result for us on time and on budget. As it was just after the corvid-19 lockdown, the manufacturer was having some despatch errors, but Simon and the team identified these and reordered the components before we were even aware there was an issue. The Open Window team were very proactive on our behalf to achieve a perfect end result and we enjoyed their conversation and their standard of care in protecting carpets and cleaning up. They couldn t have been more helpful. We would recommend them without hesitation.
