I am going to start with the conclusion: It does'...

I am going to start with the conclusion: It does't matter that you paid for all inclusive. You get what you paid only after you start tipping.

hotel was decent but that is it ....if they tell you that the room has garden view DO NOT BUY ! choose at least tropical view ... explanations below !

The good parts :

- room was clean at an acceptable level
- fresh fruits almost all day at restaurants and pools / beach bars
- the hotel has electrical installation adapted also for European chargers
- lots of drinks based on cheapest rum - nevertheless lots ! Many people complained about the poor quality of the alcohol.
- the entertainment teams and especially the young lady singer and the 3 gentlemen singing opera or older songs. All 4 of them have incredible voices and they performed live. It was a true pleasure listening them.
- beach and pools were maintained clean all day by hotel employees. We walked several kilometers on the beach and this hotel had the cleanest portion of the beach.

The bad:

- they sold us a room at Now Larimar hotel with garden view near beach. At our arrival late in the night they sent us in a building named Garden View located at 1 km away from the beach and 500 m away from main buildings. Receptionists are not interested in the lies of their sales / marketing teams.

-very bad food with lots of fats. I am not exaggerating but more than 80% of the meat was pig and salamis. Maximum 1 type of chicken or 1 type of fish (mostly fat also). In 7 days I saw in 1 evening duck and at 1 lunch there was turkey. I've asked why so poor diversity and they told me that this is country's traditional food.

- 0 (zero) safety for personal belongings if you do not use the seif

- at least 3-4 people from hotel staff entering the room during the day
- nobody is interested in you, only taking your money. Their philosophy is that western people make money much easier so they try to mock you or to steal your money if you them the smallest opportunity.

- everybody expects tips: the cleaning lady, the receptionists, the one responsible with drinks, the guy fixing the internet which obviously is not working in your room, bellboys etc. It does't matter that you paid for all inclusive. You get what you paid only after you start tipping. Most probably I tipped around 50 USD but there were several tourists who said they tipped around 100 USD for receiving the all inclusive water, juices, drinks, towels and the list can continue.

- ridiculous prices for products and trips all over hotel and also over the entire island. We managed to do some trips saving minimum 30 USD / person by avoiding hotel and affiliated agencies. Even so, I feel like it should have been cheaper.

Unique things :
- due to the distance we used a lot gulf cars (yes, you guessed well, we tipped the drivers also in order not to wait 5-10 minutes until they were doing their jobs)

- first time when we had small lizards as bodyguards precisely at the door. Who needs a door bell when you can have a lizard ?
