The clinic provides great emergency medical services and is really the only place in the area that has specialists necessary for some of the issues with my basset hound Pickles. He is approaching 15 years old and has eye issues. We have taken him here several times before and the costs have been fairly high but that is understandable with the space they are operating 24/7.

What rubs me the wrong way is being misled into purchasing medications directly from the vet at much higher prices. I needed to purchase a rewetting salve and was told it is really hard to find and to purchase a tube there for 40 bucks. Believing the staff, I did so. Halfway through the bottle I looked for a refill online before calling them back, the brand I was charged for is available on Amazon, 2 of the same size and brand tubes for 25 bucks. I feel duped and a bit upset they charged me for a 300% profit when I'm just trying to make the twilight years of my dog the best possible. The place is good, but try to stand firm when getting prescriptions or OTC medications.
