The RenFest is a classic in the region. We go at least once a year and even if the shows only change every so often, they're entertaining. Vendors can be a little pricey but they're real artists and artisans who have a limited market so it's only to be expected. Food is essentially food court fare dressed up in medieval presentation but it's the sort of carnival food you'd expect to find. And the bars are some of the best people-watching you'll run into all year. If nothing else, for the adults it's worth the price of entry as a "cover charge" into a great spot to share beers with friends and maybe join a sing-along.
