One of the worst places I have ever entered. Me, my wife and our two toddlers booked with them a day before our arrival. We arrived at the hotel around 11:30 pm ( June 7, 2016) and the older person who was at the reception told us they don't have our room, with a very smeared smile on his face. When I asked why, he said my pavement didn't go through. But my card was charged.

He made me feel like I'm a minority with two other comments he made, which I would like to forget. I felt disgusted with his attitude and remarks he made. He said "find a another place and good luck with that". . I was so angry, I called another hotel in front of the receptionist and got a booking.

My daughter asked me why he is talking like that. To concealed the idea of racism to her, I told that different people is what make the society beautiful

If your skin is not light color please think twice before you stay at this place. They have a 2 star review on Yelp for a reason. I should have consider it before I made my reservation.

This is my first ever visit to Vancouver Canada as a U.S. Citizen and I was disgusted by the fact that people who should be operate at their fullest at customer service " a receptionist " comment/ show attitude of racism. I thought racism is just a word until I experienced it. Shame on the receptionist and the management who place these type of people as receptionists.

I cannot ask anyone to stay away from this place since it's their choice if they decide to stay. But I want others to know how I first experienced Canada and how this first impression left a permanent black mark on my mind regarding the place ( Ramada Hotel). I do not judge every person of the country based on one incident. But this is how I experienced Canada on the first day of my tour.

For the upper management of Hotel Ramada: I believe there's good in every person/ thing. But there is a saying "it's easier to train a child than change an adult." So think twice, who you want hire to represent your hotel as the receptionist.
