McCormick Place was one of those landmarks we passed on a bus tour of the city in grade school.. Conventions there can be enormous and you definitely want to plan ahead as far as travel arrangements and if you need to leave during the mid-end of a convention day, you will want to add about 20-30 min to get out of there with the lines of cabs, Uber's and Lyfts. The space is huge so it is worth planning out your convention ahead of time or at least once you check in and downloading the apps associated (depending on the show). There is always a lot to pick up and great way to network. The staff was friendly but when it is time to shut down they don't waste time getting people out.
