Fabulously wide-ranging, yet on a human, quite walkable scale; less overwhelming than the wonderful New York Botanical Garden (also a must-see). BBG's Conservatory is a marvel with its many micro-climates. It's a pleasure to escape the chilly New York winter to take an easy stroll from the desert to the tropics... and then to the mind-boggling Bonsai Museum.
