This is not your typical zoo. It is a wildlife refuge and rescue operation that has a number of animals on display. The displays are OK, but nothing fancy. Many times the animals are sleeping, but this is true at most zoos. If you are disabled you might have trouble getting around in some areas since most of the paths are gravel and some areas have steep hills. Last time I saw one electric wheelchair get stuck on a hill.
Kids like the train ride. There is usually a long wait, and the ride goes out into the hills and back, but only a few animals can be seen along the ride.
