Im curious to know what type of people rate this place 4 or 5 stars. This is the worst zoo i have ever been to. Infact, i should sue them for calling it a zoo. This is not a joke. For the first 30 minutes of entering this "zoo", i did not see one animal through the sections. Not one. ( im not lieing!) We enterd through the rail entry for more detail. After the first 30 mimutes of nearly just about to demand a refund i did manage to see 1 snow leapord from a verry far distance covered in glass. My kids however couldnt even manage to see that one. After that we only got to see 3 meercats, 2 seals and 1 big turtle. A bunch of penguines, some reptiles which young kids dont really care or understand about anyways. That was 2 hours and that sums the animals we got to see. At that point we just decided to leave. This is the worst experience i think in melbourne. And to top it off. We payed a nice 80 buks for entry for 2 adults
