Continuous travel insurance Interpolis:

Interpolis states that your luggage is (additionally) insured against loss and theft.
However, Interpolis believes that the term 'theft' means that your property is stolen in front of you. You must be able to see or touch your property.

Example: Is your coat stolen from the coat rack in a restaurant? You are not insured because you have not taken care of your coat. The jacket was not in front of you.

If you ask an employee to give an example of 'theft', they (all) indicate that pickpocketing or being robbed are the only forms of theft that are covered by the insurance.

The bait at both Interpolis and Rabobank are all debunked in the fine print.

"Insured against theft, but not if something is stolen!"

EDIT:

The webcare department that posted the comment below has no idea what is going on. After telephone contact I was immediately told that they could not do anything for me.
Still no solution.
