First, I am very surprised Disney has this site listed on their website.
I ordered a scooter online to use the 3 days at Disney with my family. I have back issues that makes it hard to walk for long distances. We were celebrating my son's graduation and this was our last family vacation with just the 4 of us before our daughter gets married, so this was a big deal. Anyway, I reserved the scooter for 6pm delivery, they dropped off at 8pm. Since it was so late, we went to the park the next day. Took the scooter and one of the wheels made a noise that progressively became louder the longer I used it. I took it back to the hotel and called Big Apple Scooter. They said to take to the bellman and they had a service tech in the area and would be at our hotel in 30 minutes to swap out. I dropped it with the bellman and went to our room to wait. After 2 hours we stopped by the bellman. The same scooter was sitting there, bellman said no swap had occurred. I called Big Apple Scooter again, they assured me the tech was on his way. So....we waited again. After another 2 hours, no scooter. We had reservations for dinner at the park so we took transportation there, had dinner and returned to the hotel for the scooter. Nothing....same broken scooter waiting and no swap. I paid upfront for a 3 day rental and during the 3 days the same broken scooter sat at the bellman desk until the rental was over, then they picked it up. Even after several calls to Big Apple Scooter and assurance a tech was 'on his way', I received nothing but faulty equipment and a rental bill. They take your money upfront and give you nothing in return. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
