I like it, been going to this campground for at least 30 years since childhood and it hasn't changed much which is what I like most about it. I believe it is the first Jellystone Park ever created and I think it's kind of neat that it probably is very similar to the way it was when originated, other people might think it is dated. It isn't a camp resort with big water slides and deluxe bathrooms, but it does have 2 swimming pools and bathrooms with showers. To me it's more convenient than primitive camping (forest camping) but isn't actual "resort style" camping either. Some of the extras I like are the small shop they have there with necessities for sale which a person might need but doesn't anticipate or runs out of like ice, sunscreen, wood, some basic grocery items and things like that, the nightly movies, the swimming, and the wooded camp sites. To me it's 4 stars, for someone else it might be 1 or 5.... there are all the makings for fun there, just depends on who you're with and how much those people like the outdoors - a place to create your own memories and experience. :) I wrote a review straight up on really how I think it is there, I think any negative reviews might be coming from people who have visited other Jellystones which are more "resort" than camping, or have expectations of it being a place it isn't; likewise, some of the 5 star reviews are likely coming from people with a background of "roughing it" camping. 1 or 5 star I think is totally dependent on prior camping experiences, I think the pricing is appropriate & reflective of what visitors are paying for - not a bargain & not excessive .
