Was thrilled, but not any more...A few years ago I decided to change from a chain vision center to a more personal (non-chain) optometrist. Due to the reviews and proximity, I chose ProEye. Our experience with Dr. Dhillon-McDermott and the staff was wonderful. Dr. McDermott was extremely thorough and identified an issue in the back of my eye that was most likely present for years, but never diagnosed. After her referral to a specialist, Dr. McDermott explained the growth as benign, but should be carefully watched each year for changes in size and proximity to my optic nerve.

Unfortunately, Dr. McDermott left Proeye in 2015. Having never seen Dr. Watson, I kept my 2016 appointment with Proeye. It was a big disappointment. The appointment was exceedingly long (over 2 hours, much of the time was spent waiting for Dr. Watson). Additionally, I had to remind the staff to do the additional test to take pictures of the back of my right eye.

When Dr. Watson did finally arrive in the room, he spent very little time and was quite gruff when I posed any questions. Additionally, he never examined the pictures of the back of my eye. I needed to remind him as he was making haste out of the room. He did come back and look at the pictures, but never compared them to my last pictures from 2015. When I asked if he was going to do the comparison, he told me it was not necessary and left the room.

I have since tracked down Dr. Dhillon McDermott and am pleased to be seeing her shortly.

P.S. I am quite shocked at some of the unprofessional responses from Proeye (e.g., "rip us a new one"). Just some advice to the respondent(s) from Proeye, you may want to change your level of professionalism when replying to your reviews. If I were shopping for a vision center, the unprofessional responses from your office alone would turn me away.
