Outstanding.

Outstanding.

Went as a birthday treat midweek and ate a la carte. From the moment you enter the calm room you are treated extremely well. The dining room is muted and deceptively spacious. Staff are attentive the whole way through and can answer all the questions about the food you may have.

The menu is relatively small but each dinner is given outstanding attention to detail. From the choice of plate to the way the dish is served each is immaculate. The balance of flavours and textures throughout the meal means you will savour every mouthful.

Our waiter Reed was a delight, not overly-serious as some can be in these level restaurants, and head chef Russell Bateman was very happy to see us in the kitchen.

It is expensive - but as a treat it's well worth the expense.
