I've worked with several recruiting companies in the past and this was the only bad experience I had. I locked in with them at a rate that was too good to pass up. Then after leaving my job, I was told 6 days before starting that the contract fell through and they asked if I could continue at my old position.
It took me over a month to line up a new position and while they initially acted like they would work hard to find me something else, they put no effort forth as I only heard from them once after reaching back out 4 weeks after we originally talked.
