We had made reservations months ago for a wedding ...

We had made reservations months ago for a wedding in Greenwich, did not request early check in, which didn't bother us, but when our room with the king size bed was STILL NOT READY AT 3:30 and we needed to be at the service for the 5:00, my wife and I were not pleased and of course we "down graded" to the two double beds room. I could over hear this conversation being repeated to others that had booked the king size bedrooms and they were told the same thing....... I think there is a method to the Hyatt's madness which seems to work for them but not the customers that book in advance for a specific room. Oh, the desk clerk was very nice and of course could not explain why this was happening and offered to pay for our parking. Please rethink your policies if you want to keep your customers happy... After all, isn't it ABOUT THE CUSTOMER?????
