I was unable to buy tickets online (poor planning on my behalf) but you are able to buy tickets for 16:00 at the exhibit even if they are fully booked. I showed up at 15:30 and was let in with my 16:00 ticket. They have lockers for 100jpy that you can store your stuff in (unless you have a kid I would do this, makes pictures better not lugging around a bag). And just a heads up to the skirt wearers out there there s really no warning like at their other exhibit (Planets) about the mirrored floors so you ve been warned. Lastly if the line for the Floating Nest is more than 20-30 minutes it might not be worth it. It uses the same music from an earlier exhibit and only lasts 5 minutes. As a person that stood in line for an hour and a half I was supremely underwhelmed. That being said the rest of the exhibit was amazing and if you get a chance to check out Planets a 45 minute experience on its own and less than 5km away I would highly suggest it.
