Worse emergency room in the entire world. First let me say it is the most unsanitary hospital I have ever been to. The nurses are extremely rude and very incompetent. Dr. Katie Golden is one the most rudest unprofessional "ER doctors" I have ever seen. If you are a chronic pain patient DO NOT go here under any circumstance you will be treated like a drug seeker if you are in pain. I was told I was completely fine , and ignored by the doctor and nursing staff because they labeled me as a drug seeker. I went to a novant hospital and found out I had a blood clot in my lung and also my blood count was 6.1 - this hospital is ridiculous it's the second time they have lied to me about my care and blood work. I have now officially contacted my attorney for medical malpractice suit against the hospital , I practically begged the doctor to help me and all she said was "I am busy with other patients". Although my BP was 185/115 and heart rate was 150. I was ignored and treated like trash. If you want a proper honest diagnosis I suggest you go anywhere but here, they are the worse of the worse Gastonia needs a better hospital. They can't diagnose a fart in the wind.
