My wife and I come into the dealership 2 years ago...

My wife and I come into the dealership 2 years ago, Looking for a family vehicle. We wanted a new Durango as we had studied our options, and with 5 children, it was one of the few options with 5 row seating. My wife also wanted to drive for Uber to offset the payments.
We had 5k, and a co-signer (father in law) who had good credit as well as had purchased a vehicle two years prior from the same dealership.
After dancing around trying to put us in smaller vehicles ( none of them new) we settled on 2012 Durango with roughly 50k on the odometer.
It was all we gualified for. Said the salesman.
It looked to be in good shape and we were told there was warranty that would cover any issues that would arise. My concern was the mileage. We trusted the sales man and went threw with the deal.
The Uber inspection revealed that the tires were bold we took it back and the delership replaced the tires.

The real problems started 8 months down the road the headlights burned out. Only these bulbs cost 240 a peace. The total cost to us 500
Front tire kept loosing air. Total cost 200 to repair
And finally 2 years and only 10k miles later the transmission stopped working. 1700 it cost us.
Needless to say we kept up on all the oilchanges and maintenance. The problem was our warranty was imaginary. Not only did we get sold a lemon. We had to pay to fix it. That ,in turn, cost us time not working while it was in the shop . If you do the math the amount of cost to us, we have gotten behind on our payments that exact amount, roughly 3k. (Which is allot for us) and the bank finally took it. So what? Now the bank gets to keep a vehicle we paid to fix.
Thanks allot dodge, you guys ruined our life.
Our kids and us have no transportation and because of this lemon our credit will be shot.
I m tired of being taken advantage of. Ide like to ensure you don t do it to anyone else.
And I doubt this can be made right .
I don t right reviews, I only hope that in light of day other folks can ovoid the situation we are in.
