Light trails easy to walk and explore. Kid-friendly although be careful when walking on the trail by the granite quarry, the drop is steep and rocky. Definitely walk down to the rocky shoreline by the ocean, kids will have fun hunting for tiny crabs and other creatures. Be careful walking on the wet rocks, it's slippery. Parking, picnic tables, and restrooms are literally at the entrance of the park. You can spend 2 to 4 hours casually exploring this area. Visit the Rockport downtown area as well, it's full of little shops and local restaurants. If you're looking for a beach in the area, skip Front Beach. Instead drive a half hour to Wingaersheek Beach, it's nicer, more spacious and very kid-friendly. HAVE FUN!
