To put it simply, this really sounds like a little tourist scam.
The dishes are not bad (but not extraordinary either), the welcome is friendly and the owner is very enterprising about the wine ("be quiet, I know wine well, I do my business".) Not wary, because Portugal does not is not customary because we let ourselves be carried away by the chef's advice. We ask him for white, he serves us red why not. The wine is not bad; neither does the second glass (it is important to note that wine prices are nowhere posted at this point.) The meal ends sadly enough on two very low quality desserts (to be polite.) And finally comes the bill and the price of two glasses of wine: 10 Euros. That is two and a half times the average price of what we have found so far in this country. Really, I do not recommend.
