As a contractor I have used Focus since Nightscaping went under during the recession. Good quality products at a good price. I've never had any problems with warranty on the few occasions that I've needed to use it. (I think the only warranty issues I've had were LED related). I use mostly the copper and brass fixtures, which are lifetime warranty on the fixtures and I think three year on the sockets. I've never had an issue with the sockets since I've been using Focus, as they use high quality ones, but they are easy and inexpensive to change out if there ever was one. Comparable in quality with FX at a much better price.

Downside:
Recently it has taken longer to get orders shipped from the factory, so if your supplier doesn't have everything in stock, you may or may not get your order as quickly as you expect. Also, the factory rep for contractor support that serves my area (south western states) is no longer with the company, and I miss his expertise if I ever have a question. He was the reason I moved to Focus, when he moved there from Nightscaping.

Power centers (transformers) are very good. I've never seen one go bad. They have several timer options . The one I use exclusively is the Astro Timer made by Honeywell. You program in the location (latitude and longitude), time, and date. It knows what time sundown is every day and adjusts accordingly, so you never need to reprogram for seasonal changes. It has a lithium backup battery like a computer that maintains memory during power outages of up to 4-5 hours so you don't need to re-program every time the power goes out. I have had to replace them a few times over the many years working with Nightscaping and Focus, but they are more reliable than other timers. They also allow you to set different on/off times for different days or weekends if you desire.

I use only Ace direct burial connectors for wiring, not connectors from any light fixture manufacturer. I've never had one go bad in many years of use, and connectors have been a problem for the landscape lighting industry. The only other connector I have not seen problems with in service calls are pentites
